3-Iron (2004)

3-Iron is a quiet film. The characters do not say a word. And why should they?

Korean wonder-boy Ki-duk Kim has taken movielovers on many wondrous journeys through forests of subtleties before, but 3-Iron is his masterpiece. The actors are astoundingly able to express their whole lives through nothing but blank stares, and never before has so much been said without words.

  1. Usually, I wouldn't risk this movie...but I've gotten some great things from this blog, so 3-Iron, here I come!

  2. Great stuff. I'd love to hear what you thought about it.

  3. I've seen all Kim Ki Duk films up to 2008 and ALWAYS recommend this one. It's great fun thoughtful and a really fun time!
    Good choice! Bravo ^_^

  4. Awesome!v There's quite a few of Kim Ki Duk I haven't seen yet. I find I really have to be a special mood to watch one of his films, but I love this and The Isle.

    Thanks for commenting =)
