Off Screen (2005)

In 2002, a man entered a skyscraper in Amsterdam, armed with two guns and a bag full of explosives. He held the entire building under siege, with more than 200 people as hostages.

Now, you're probably thinking he was a terrorist or some crazy fundamentalist. But no.

He did this because he was dissatisfied with his wide screen television.

As bizarre as all this sounds, it actually really happened, and this film is his story.

It is one of the best Dutch films I've seen.
