Oldboy (2003)

Here's another one everybody has seen. I was actually considering not writing about it because it's too well know, however it's also too great to leave out.

The story is as original as it is intriguing: A guy is abducted and put in a strange cell for 15 years, only to be let out one day without knowing why. The rest of the film is about trying to figure out who was behind it all.

It features one of the best endings to any film in cinematic history, and boy... even though I just warned you about it, you'll never see it coming ;)
