Patrice was a stand-up comedian on a level of his own.He had this peculiar ability of taking highly intellectual concepts, and present them in a way that were as simple as they were funny. I find him a bit difficult to pin down, because much of what he said was so original, that there's really nobody to compare him to.
And man, was he brutal! He didn't shy away from controversies, but relished in it, and fired torpedos of truths at an audience who often didn't know if they were even allowed to laugh.
Sadly, he passed away shortly after this special was filmed, but boy did he go out with a bang.
