William S. Burroughs was a writer that got employed as secret agent in the state of Interzone for at least 18 years. The regular reports he wrote in this time was later collected in a novel called Naked Lunch. When the novel was finally finished however, mr. Burroughs said he knew nothing about it. He'd been a junkie the last 18 years.
So what really happened in all those years? This film certainly wont tell you. But it might very well turn you into an agent in Interzone too.
