Repo Man (1984)

Repo Man is a sci-fi-crime-drama-drug-comedy. Not so many like that around...

If that alone is not enough to see it, know that it also features Emilio Estevez in his only good role, rubber-faced Harry Dean Stanton as a speed-freaked Mr. Miyagi type character, and starry-eyed Tracey Walter as a whimsical Yoda person who constantly rambles wise words that nobody listens too.

Director Alex Cox was dubbed the new hotshot in Hollywood and foretold a brilliant future with this debut film in 1984, but sadly, 26 years later he seems still to be waiting for his big brake, as he is always referred to as "The director of Repo Man" in interviews.
