They Live (1988)

This film makes most other films look Caucasian. It is cooool.

It starts a bit slow, and you might wonder what it is you're actually watching, but then once it gets going, you're in for a ride.

Being an 80s film, it of course features some fantastically tasteless outfits and hopeless hair styles, which only adds to the entertaining quality of the experience.

This was made in the height of has-been director John Carpenter's glory days, and shines of the filmmakers having a lot of fun.
