Interstate 60 (2002)

I got a weak spot for road movies, and here's another one that's way better than it might first appear. Written and directed by Bob Gale (who also wrote Back to the Future and the brilliant Used Cars) the story revolves around a man in search of meaning, as he travels around America, visiting non-existing places that satirize current issues.

Speckled with great cast members like Gary Oldman, Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd and Kurt Russell, the film has much higher production value than such silly fares usually do. A feast of pure entertainment, Interstate 60 is one of those rare gems you just can't understand why nobody told you about before.
